The mortality rate for African American and Latina women suffering from breast cancer remains alarmingly high. Understanding breast health and proper screening saves women’s lives. To help raise awareness, Dance Pink presents a sultry evening of sizzling Latin dance with live band and pulsating DJ house music on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 6:30 PM – 1:00 AM at Rumba, 351 W. Hubbard Street Chicago, Illinois.

The event features a Salsa lesson, a live Salsa band, house music DJ, dance cards for charity and a prize drawing and silent auction featuring a number of donated items.

The beneficiaries of the Dance Pink event are A Silver Lining Foundation. A Silver Lining ensures that socioeconomic status does not impact the outcome of an individual’s cancer diagnosis.
